| Recommendations
of Instructional Materials
The
Instructional Materials Committee (IMC) reviews proposed
basic and supplemental instructional materials requested
for use by teachers and administrators at regularly
scheduled meetings throughout the school year.
The
Director of Curriculum forwards recommendations from
the IMC to the Deputy Superintendent. The Deputy Superintendent
forwards recommendations to the Superintendent and School
Board for approval.
Instructional
material recommendations are then placed on the next
available School Board agenda as an item for first reading.
The materials will then be available for public review
until the Board's final approval at the following Board
meeting.
