The documents referenced in these links provide schools with sample text for parent communication regarding district and state assessments. These text samples should be used or modified for use in school newsletters or letters sent to parents beginning the month before the test administration.

A school breakfast is offered at no cost to students taking the MSP, HSPE or WLPT state-required test. Please include this information in your January, February, March and April newsletters.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) is given in fall, winter and spring to students in grades 3 through 7. Please include this information in your September, January, April, and May newsletters.

The Measurements of Student Progress (MSP) is given in May to students in grades 3, 4 and 5 and grades 6, 7 and 8. Please include this information in your April newsletter.

The High School Proficiency Exams (HSPE) is given in March and April to students in high school . Please include this information in your February and March newsletters.
