Elementary Report Card Grades K - 5

The shifts to integrated and developmentally appropriate instruction and increased accountability for meeting standards have led us to develop different methods of assessment and evaluation. This reporting system is intended to provide a comprehensive description of a student's progress from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

Report card goals:

• Communicate clearly student progress to both parents and students.
• Measure progress using some "standardized" assessments and report progress uniformly across the district.
• Streamline teacher record keeping to facilitate the process of creating report cards.
