Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

§	MAP tests are given on the computer and are adaptive, where the difficulty of items adjusts with each correct or incorrect response the student provides.
§	The Math Goals Survey tests are untimed and ask students to answer about 50 selected response items.
§	Fifth grade students take the Math Goals Survey 2-5 test.
§	Eighth grade students take the Math Goals Survey 6+ test.
§	Students are allowed only to use the on-screen calculator when it appears on the screen for particular items.
§	Teachers read test directions to students from the provided script.
§	Test proctors record scores on a Student Score Log as each student finishes.
§	Teachers access on-line reports after testing at https://reports.nwea.org/login.asp.
