Lesson Writing Project
2007-2008
Twenty mathematic high school teachers and math college instructors participated in a series of professional development workshops sponsored by WCMP. Teachers created professional lesson plans written to a content strand of the College Readiness Standards and included at least two process strands. Lessons underwent several rigorous reviews by peers, a staff reviewer, and an assessment expert. The finished lessons were compiled onto a CD and sent to the Transition Math Project for dissemination to math teachers and college instructors across the state. (See For Teachers)
